Moderate resorts at Disney World, Florida are the “better than basic” tier resorts on Disney World property. Some may call them the “middle” standard. Additional Unique Features
- RV Rentals are available Direct from Disney official vendors: Luxurious RV Rentals LLC – (800) 561-8538 and Meacham’s RV Rental – (941) 224-4939. They can be delivered directly to the resort with the same or similar amenities as the hotel resorts. Rv’s are fantastic if you can’t decide between a campsite or a cabin.
- Electrical Water Pageant takes place along the shore at around 9:45 PM (Note that times may differ due to weather conditions or cancellations). This is a nighttime parade that lasts around 15 mins with whimsical sea creatures. Afterwords guests can stay and watch the Happily Ever After fireworks.
- This resort provides many outdoor recreational activities. These include the Fort Wilderness Archery experience, Tri-Circle-D Ranch, Holiday Sleigh Rides, Pony Rides, Wagon Rides, Chip ’N’ Dales Campfire Sing-A-Long, Fishing, Bike Rentals, Canoe Rentals, Kayak Rentals, Basketball Courts, Jogging Trails, Volleyball, Wilderness Back Trail adventure, Horse Drawn Carriages.
- Golf Cart Rental – 4 Seat available at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground from the reception outpost for $62.91 plus applicable taxes. Get around the resort with ease on this electric golf cart which is equipped with windshields and headlights for night driving. Rentals can be made to individuals that are 18 years and over with a valid driving licence. Any driver must have a licence and be 16 or older.
* Carts can be picked up from 1pm and must be returned by 11am on return day.
Reservations can be made upto 1 year in advance by calling (407) 824-2742. This is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Disney’s Moderate Hotel Resorts are great fun for the whole family! This is backed by fantastic food, play and of course the immersive themes that give the resorts their unique branding.
Although there are many amenities and activities that are the same, or resemble those of contrasting resorts, they are presented in a way that heightens the experience for all guests.
