Themed or Character Restaurants, at Disney World Resort’s, are open daily and all at various times including breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you check on the MyExperience app prior to booking you can get specific times. Standard beverages include soft drinks as well as alcoholic selections such as beer, wine, cider or spirits. There are also featured or speciality options. If you require accessible facilities make sure you check in advance so you have clear information. Themed restaurants usually reflect resort surroundings and may include a full show or light entertainment. For character dining, you will get the chance to meet Mickey and friends without having to join a lengthy queue. But don’t be surprised if the line up changes last minute. This can be for any reason. However, meeting any Disney character in a dining setting is an unforgettable experience.

Conclusion
Disney’s World Resort Themed and Character Restaurants come in all ‘shapes and sizes’ including casual, fine and buffet style dining.
Many are themed in such a way as to fit in with resort surroundings. Character dining offers a special experience where guests are able to meet the characters, get autographs and photo’s, all while having a meal. This definitely beats waiting in a character line in the parks and is designed to keep you, as the guest, immersed in the Disney experience.
If you have any dietary needs these can be met. Please make sure you speak to your server when ordering.
You can use Dining plans at most restaurants but this is not the case at the Dolphin and Swan Resorts. Always make sure you check before hand.
